Welcome to Eat in Budget. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Eat in Budget website, mobile application, and related services.

By accessing our platform, creating an account, placing an order, or registering as a vendor/home chef, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Eat in Budget

Eat in Budget is a multi-vendor food marketplace that connects customers with independent home chefs and food vendors.

Our platform allows customers to:

• Discover local home chefs and food vendors
• Browse menus and food categories
• Place food orders
• Make payments through available payment methods
• Track orders where tracking is available
• Review and rate vendors

Home chefs and vendors are independent sellers responsible for preparing and supplying the food they list on the platform.

2. Customer Accounts

Customers may be required to create an account to place orders.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login information secure
• Update your information when necessary
• Not use another person’s account without permission
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised

Eat in Budget reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Vendor & Home Chef Registration

Home chefs and vendors must register through the Become a Vendor process.

Vendors may be required to provide:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Business/home-chef information
• Food categories they intend to supply
• Menu information
• Location and delivery information
• Required identification or business documentation, where applicable

All vendor applications are subject to approval.

Vendor approval may take up to 2 business days, depending on the information provided and the review process.

Eat in Budget reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove a vendor from the platform.

4. Food & Menu Information

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that their menu information is accurate.

This includes:

• Food names
• Descriptions
• Prices
• Ingredients
• Portion sizes
• Availability
• Preparation times
• Allergen information, where applicable

Food photographs may be representative and may not always exactly match the delivered item.

5. Food Safety

Each vendor/home chef is responsible for preparing food safely and in accordance with applicable food safety and hygiene requirements.

Vendors are responsible for informing customers of relevant allergens and ingredients where required.

Customers should review available food and allergen information before ordering.

If you have a serious food allergy, please contact the vendor before placing an order.

6. Orders

When you place an order, you are making a request to purchase food from the selected vendor.

An order is considered accepted once the vendor confirms the order through the platform.

Orders may be subject to:

• Vendor availability
• Food availability
• Preparation time
• Delivery availability
• Delivery area restrictions

Eat in Budget or the vendor may cancel an order when necessary.

7. Prices & Payments

Prices displayed on the platform are set by individual vendors unless otherwise stated.

The total amount payable may include:

• Food price
• Delivery charges
• Service/platform fees
• Applicable taxes
• Other charges disclosed before checkout

Customers are responsible for paying the final amount shown at checkout.

8. Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation before the vendor begins preparing the order.

Once food preparation has started, cancellation may not be possible.

If an order has already been prepared or dispatched, the customer may not be eligible for a refund unless the order qualifies under our Refund Policy.

9. Delivery

Delivery times shown on the platform are estimates and may vary due to:

• Food preparation time
• Traffic
• Weather
• Location
• High order volume
• Vendor delays
• Delivery partner availability
• Other circumstances beyond our control

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and contact information.

10. Customer Responsibility

Customers should ensure that someone is available to receive the order when required.

Eat in Budget and the vendor may not be responsible for failed delivery caused by:

• Incorrect address
• Incorrect phone number
• Customer being unavailable
• Customer refusing the order
• Inability to access the delivery location

11. Reviews & Ratings

Customers may be allowed to review vendors and orders.

Reviews must be honest and must not contain:

• Abusive language
• Threats
• Discriminatory content
• False accusations
• Personal information
• Spam or promotional content

Eat in Budget reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these rules.

12. Intellectual Property

All Eat in Budget branding, logos, website content, graphics, software, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to Eat in Budget unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially use our content without permission.

13. Platform Availability

We aim to keep Eat in Budget available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of:

• Maintenance
• Technical problems
• Updates
• Security issues
• Third-party service interruptions

14. Limitation of Responsibility

Eat in Budget provides the marketplace platform connecting customers and vendors.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Eat in Budget is not responsible for circumstances arising from the independent actions of vendors, including food preparation, food quality, ingredients, allergens, or vendor delays.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
