Pakoras are a popular Pakistan snack made by deep-frying vegetables, chicken, or paneer in a chickpea flour batter. The crispy and spicy pakoras are usually served with chutney or ketchup. To make them, you need to mix chickpea flour with spices and water, dip the vegetables or chicken in the batter, and fry until golden brown. They make a perfect appetizer or party food.

Ingredient:

  • Baisan – 1 Cup
  • Salt – As per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder –  1 tsp
  • Ajwain – 1 tsp
  • Crushed Chilli – 1 tsp
  • Zeera – 1 tsp
  • Potato – 2 Large
  • Baingan ( Brinjal )  – 1 Large
  • Onion – 1 Medium
  • Green Chilli – 1 Chopped

Method

In a deep bowl add. Baisan, Chilli Powder, Chilli Flakes, Zeera, Ajwaien, and Salt, mix all together, add water gradually And make batler.
Cut potato and baingan in any shape. Soak them in water.add 1 tbsp salt in water.
Drain and make pakora heat oil and start making pakoras.

For Veg Pakoras

Leftover pakora batter, take sliced onion, sliced potato and sliced baingan, baisan, ajwain, red chilli, sprinkle basin, red chilli powder, zeera and salt and mix.
Don’t add water. Make batter leave for 5 minutes and fry.
Serve with imli chutney, green chutney, sprinkle chaat masala.
